Precision Power A1800.1D Atom Series Monoblock Amplifier

Adopting the most exemplary Korean Class-D performance, reliability, and footprint of the original ATOM and ion platforms, ATOM amplifiers immediately catch the eye with several key improvements. The signal inputs, power/ground, and speaker connections of ATOM have been relocated to the chassis' leading edge, making installation easier and more appealing. All pre-amp & crossover options are conveniently located on the backside, while additions to the circuit board, including improved power supply & output stage components and Monoblock bridging capability, may not be as noticeable.

The unique installation of ATOM amplifiers involves mounting pedestals at each corner, which elevate the heatsink and improve airflow around and underneath the chassis. Furthermore, rubber grommets under and inside each pedestal electrically isolate the amplifier chassis from the vehicle chassis, reducing the potential for ground loop noise.

In terms of power output, the ATOM series delivers impressive RMS Power ratings: 650W x 1 (4Ω, 14.4V, 35Hz, ≤ 1% THD+N), 1,000W x 1 (2Ω, 14.4V, 35Hz, ≤ 1% THD+N), and 1,800W x 1 (1Ω, 14.4V, 35Hz, ≤ 1% THD+N). The amps are built with sequenced delays to eliminate Residual power-up/power-down pops and are equipped with differential RCA inputs to isolate 12v audio to ground.

The unique design of the ATOM series combines a Hybrid Aluminum Alloy Heatsink for optimum heat dissipation with an intricate MOSFET power supply full of Audiophile Grade IR Transistors, all mounted on a Military Grade SMT PCB for dynamic performance. To ensure signal purity, the amps feature Volume low ESR Capacitance Banks that compensate for power supply ripple, as well as a set of individually regulated Preamp/Crossover components.

The ATOM series is equipped with integrated variable 12dB High Pass, Low Pass, and Subsonic Crossovers, and can accept a 200mV-6V Low-Level RCA or High-Level Signal Input. Additionally, the amps offer a 12dB Bass Boost adjustment to increase low-octave harmonics.
